Happy heart mission

to Spread happiness by making yoga and its philosophy more accessible in everyday life through the use of humor, humility, and self inquiry.

my philosophy

The philosophy and intention behind what I do is based on these five personal beliefs:

  1. There is inherent goodness and worth and light in all living things and in life itself.

  2. Everything and everyone is connected.

  3. We have all of the answers within us. At times we need support to uncover those answers; however, in no way does that discredit our strength and inner wisdom, it adds to it.

  4. To create true growth and transformation we have to, first, start with ourselves and, second, utilize what we have learned or gained in service to others. Our growth is tied up and intertwined with the growth of others around us.

  5. Mindfulness, love, and humor are some of our biggest allies on the journey to self.

My goal is to help you realize your worth and potential, find connection, uncover the answers, and create true transformation.

why yoga?

Yoga is an opening; it is an opening to connection and to self. Through yoga, we connect our breath to movement, our minds to our hearts. And we eventually open up to the connection of all of life – all beings and all of ourselves.  It is a slow opening, a slow discovery of self and how we interact with the world. My hope in sharing yoga and inspiration is to help facilitate that opening in each of us. Yoga is different for everyone and connects to individuals on different levels. What is yoga to you? How does it impact your body, your life, and your relationships? Where can you create more opening, more acceptance and love? These are the questions that yoga poses. These are the questions we must explore.

Step onto your mat, find your path, and begin your journey to self.
